Questions from the field

The answers people ask for most often, followed by the one way to reach us directly.

Does Bearing 21 involve real money?

No. It is a social casino game played with virtual coins. There is no real-money wagering, nothing to purchase, and coins cannot be withdrawn, exchanged or redeemed for money, goods or services.

Can I buy more coins?

There is no way to buy coins, and there never will be. If your balance runs low, press “Reset balance to 1,000” below the table and it is restored immediately, free.

Why did my balance go back to 1,000?

Your balance is kept only in the page you have open. Reloading, closing the tab or opening the game in a new window starts a fresh session with 1,000 coins. Nothing is stored on our side.

Is the deck really shuffled?

Yes. The table builds a full 52-card deck and shuffles it with the browser's cryptographic random number source. Cards are dealt from that deck in order, and a new deck is shuffled when fewer than 15 cards remain.

What does the house do on soft 17?

It stands. The house draws while its total is 16 or below and stands on any 17 or more, whether hard or soft. The full rules sit next to the table on the game page.

How much does a blackjack pay?

A natural blackjack, meaning an ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards, pays 3:2. A 20-coin stake returns 50 coins in total: your stake plus 30. If the house also has blackjack, the round is a push.

Can I split pairs?

Not at this table. Bearing 21 offers hit, stand and a first-two-cards double, which keeps each round quick and the arithmetic easy to follow.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no login and no profile. Open the page and play.

Who can play?

Adults aged 18 and over. The site is not intended for anyone younger, wherever they are located.
